The countdown is on!! Don’t miss out on the Alvin ISD Education Foundation Turtle Race 5K and Kids 1K Family Fun Run!

Turtle Race 5K & Kids 1K Family Fun Run is a certified race that will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 9:00 am at National Oak Park in Alvin, Texas.

If you can’t join in person, there will be a hybrid race to participate virtually. Virtual registrants choose a date to complete their run or walk, we will share a link to let virtual racers log their information and a photo to be shared to inspire others.

The Alvin ISD Education Foundation Turtle Race includes a park full of vendors, activities, and food! The (plastic) Turtles race at NOON! Plan to stay for the fun and maybe win a prize!

Race Schedule:

Kids 1K for 11 and under begins at 8:30 am

Awards to the top three boys and girls. 

(Parents may walk/run with their child)

5K Fun Run begins at 9:00 am 

5K 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Awards for the top three in each age category and for overall men’s and women’s.
