Sign Up Early For The Alvin ISD Education Foundation Annual 2024 Turtle Race and 5K Fun Run!

Don’t be a slowpoke! Early registration for the Annual Alvin ISD Education Foundation Turtle Race 5K & Kids 1K Family Fun Run is going on now!

The Alvin Independent School District Education Foundation hosts the Turtle Race and 5K & Kids 1K Family Fun Run in support of a quality education for the District’s students. By being a part of this event you’re supporting our local students in improving their educational environment.

Kids 1K for 11 and under begins at 8:30 am
Awards to the top three boys and girls. 
Please note, parents may walk or run with their child.

5K Fun Run begins at 9:00 am 
This is an officially timed race timed by Run Houston Timing. Results will be available online.
Awards for the top three in each age category and for overall men’s and women’s.  

If you cannot attend the race in person there will be a virtual option available. Virtual registrants choose a date to complete their run or walk, we will share a link to let virtual racers log their information and a photo to be shared to inspire others.

You can also adopt a Turtle for a chance to win a $1,500 travel voucher, a $1,000 shopping spree, or a $500 Visa gift card!

After the 1K and 5K, you’ll have the opportunity to shop from local vendors for treats and goodies & at noon don’t miss the plastic turtle races!

Please note, strollers are welcome. Dogs are permitted but must remain leashed and well-behaved the whole time. The owner accepts full responsibility for your pet and its actions.
