Ultimate Guide: Summer Camps in Pearland and Friendswood

Get excited! Tons of summer camps will be up and running this summer in Pearland and Friendswood. Here is a quick list of summer camps that will be available for children and their families.

Summer Camps in Friendswood

Bushi Ban
Providing a summer camp that features field trips, arts, crafts, and karate classes for children 4 years of age and older. Dates have not yet been announced, but pricing will be $179 per week with a $100 registration fee.

First Baptist Church in Friendswood
Hosting vacation bible school camps this coming summer. Their camp will feature arts, crafts, a worship rally, snacks, and all kinds of fun recreational activities. The camp is free, but registration is required. The church is also hosting day camps, throughout the month of July, and will feature:

-    Archery.
-    Solving puzzles.
-    Building techniques.
-    Sports.
-    Cooking
-    Arts and crafts.
-    Science experiments
-    And more.

The cost of their day camp is $215 for the week.

Kids Creations
Offering two camp sessions this summer, a morning session from 10 AM- 1 PM and an evening session from 1- 4 PM. They will include all kinds of arts and crafts from plaster and sand painting to wood crafts, canvas painting, glass art, and even tie-dying. Camps are for children from the ages of 5-9 and 10-14. The cost of the camp is $40 per day.

Sport Divers
Hosting a scuba camp this summer, where students will graduate receiving their scuba certification. Students are required to bring their own fins, mask, and snorkel, and will practice diving in lakes and pools in the process of earning their certification. This camp is for children ages 10 and older.

Summer Camps in Pearland

Allegro Pearland Academy of Music
Offering a music camp for children ages 8-16. Students will learn how to play in an ensemble as well as participate in character-building games. They will have a performance on the last day of camp. This camp is for students who play orchestra instruments and own their own double bass, cello, violin, or viola.

Dates: July 12-16.

Alpha Omega Gymnastics
They are hosting arts and crafts as well as activities for fine arts, science, dance, gymnastics, and water play days as well, for children ages 3 and older. Alpha Omega Gymnastics will also have an in-house field trip every week at camp.

Bailey Oaks Farms
Bailey Oaks Farms is hosting multiple horseback riding camps, throughout the summer, for children that are 6-12 years of age.

Bricks and MiniFigs
Bricks and MiniFigs has put together a Lego-building summer camp for children in the area. They will have fun and engaging themes such as:

-    Jedi Engineering.
-    Transportation Engineering.
-    And Pokemon Engineering.

Dates: June 7-11. July 19-23.
Times: 9 AM - 12 PM for children ages 5-7. 1- 4 PM for children ages 7-12.

Divine Dance Academy
Offering an in-person dance summer camp as well as the option for students to join over Zoom.

Dates: August 2-6.

Grappling Zone
Hosting a camp that features martial arts, community service, foreign language lessons, ASL (American Sign Language) classes, STEM, classes about animals, field trips, and even financial literacy.

Dates: June 7- August 13.
Price: $50 registration fee plus $170 per week.

Hosting a virtual camp for children ages 3-5 and 6-12, which will include music, games, and a variety of other activities.

Dates: June 1-20.

Reflex The Pearland Gymnastics Academy
Offering three and five-day classes for children ages 4-12. The camp will include instructor-led gymnastics, organized sports, and games.
