Del Bello Lakes Grand Opening Set for June 13 and 14, 2020
Del Bello Lakes, the new home community being developed in Manvel, will celebrate the Grand Opening of the neighborhood’s first model home park on Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14, 2020. Six new furnished model homes by Ashton Woods, Perry Homes, Shea Homes and Westin Homes will be unveiled during the event, which will be held daily from noon to 5 pm.
Due to COVID-19, the event has been designed to be a bit different then home shoppers may have attended in the past. Free Del Bello Lakes branded face masks and personal hand sanitizer bottles will be provided. Attendees will scan a QR code when they arrive to register for the event, which will also enter them into the drawing for an Apple iPad Pro (no purchase necessary to win.) Guests will be given brochure materials for the community and each builder in a Del Bello Lakes branded tote bag. In addition to these contactless event measures, the tour path will be defined with arrows on the ground. Social distancing will be practiced.
At the end of the tour, guests can enjoy free food trucks. James Coney Island Cruiser and Bahama Bucks will be
serving hot dogs, fries, drinks and snow cones to visitors.
Shea Homes is the developer of Del Bello Lakes, the company’s first self-developed community in the Houston area. The community is named after the Del Bello family, who were one of the founding families in the Manvel area in the 1800s. The neighborhood offers four different homesite sizes, including 50’, 55’, 60’, and 70’ wide sites and homes are priced from the mid $200s to $500s. Located off of Highway 288 at Del Bello Boulevard, just north of Highway 6 in Manvel, children living in the community will attend Alvin ISD Schools; E.C. Mason Elementary, Manvel Junior High and Manvel High School.
The six model homes opening during this event represent the 50’ homesites (Shea Homes and Perry Homes), 55’ homesites (Ashton Woods and Westin Homes), and 60’ homesites (Shea Homes and Westin Homes.) Perry Homes and Shea Homes have 70’ homesite model homes now under construction that will open later this year. The community’s recreation center, named Jaxon’s Cove, will also be under construction soon and is located adjacent to the first model home park. Lakes, trails and parks are woven into the master plan for Del Bello Lakes. Each builder has a selection of homes ready for quick move-in, as well as a variety of plans available for home buyers to build to their specific needs and tastes. Those quick move-in homes will also be available for touring during this event.
