With tomorrow marking the first official day of fall, we’re more than ready for all the exciting Autumn festivities! Brazoria County is the place to be this fall, with amazing destinations right here in our little corner of Texas. So grab your pumpkin spice lattes and prepare for your seasonal bucket list!
The Fall Festival at Froberg’s farm starts tomorrow to kick off the season! Lose yourself in their corn maze, pick your own deliciously fresh fruits and veggies, or peruse one of their many fall activities. Froberg’s is a must-visit this fall, and we hope you come out and see the pumpkin patch, enjoy yummy food, live music, and visit their classic homemade bakery!
What better season is there to visit the zoo than in fall?! With our slightly cooler Texas temperatures, time to take the kiddos to this wildlife sanctuary zoo in Alvin. You can take a tram ride through the 80 acres of their wildlife preserve with knowledgeable guides who will tell you all about their beloved animals on the property. You will also be able to visit rare exotic animals such as Kangaroos, Prairie Dogs, Llamas, Pygmy Goats, Lemurs and much more at Addie Lou's Barnyard! Lastly, don’t forget to stop by The Big Red Barn for something to eat, gift shop trinkets, and to visit their 4-month-old baby giraffe, Delilah!
Gather your family and friends and head to 2320 Hatfield Road on October 1st for Oktoberfest. This family-friendly event will feature local craftsmen and vendors gathered for this celebration. With over 90 vendors from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, there will be products such as clothing, home decor, cookies, bath products, candles, wreaths, custom cups, and more! There is truly something for everyone at this festival, and don’t forget there will be face painting, outdoor lawn games, food trucks, and a moonwalk for kids!
